VideoLAN-4T is a network video recorder over LAN that joints the features of a Digital Video Recorder with those of a video codec. In fact, this equipment let to monitor standard CCTV cameras by LAN or by INTERNET and, at the same time, it can record the pictures on the built-in hard disk .
Therefore, VideoLAN-4T allows to record video signals with high quality and in very reliable way without overloading the network (LAN or INTERNET) as it makes recording of the pictures locally and, consequently, the network transfers only the data concerning the pictures that you are really watching in each moment.
If you do not need recording features, you can have the codec VideoLAN-4T without hard disk.

This LAN recorder drives up to 4 cameras but if your system includes more cameras, you can use more LAN recorder with different IP ;address on the same LAN.
LanCORDER can record by schedule, by alarm or by motion detection; contemporarily,& this recorder can transmit live video by LAN or by INTERNET.
You will control all video recorders with the software VideoLAN-EV and a PC; this software receives live pictures, makes the playback and moves the speed dome.
In fact, LanCORDER manages speed dome or P/T/Z cameras thanks to the RS485 serial port present in board.

You can control the VideoLAN-4T system by installing on your PC the software VideoLAN-EV. This software runs under WINDOWS XP and it let you to receive live as well as recorded pictures, to move speed dome cameras and to control the auxiliary relays present on each VideoLAN-4T.
The software VideoLAN-EV is very easy to use because you can select each camera by selecting with the mouse the relevant camera icon on the relevant map. To set camera icons on the maps is very easy too and you can do this by yourself during the installation procedure of the VideoLAN-EV software.
