Remote keyboards for CCTV
Remote keyboards suitable to be used with switchers, multiplexers, DVR, P/T/Z cameras and speed domes. Only one keyboard let you the choising of the displayed cameras, the remote control of the DVR, to move P/T/Z cameras and speed domes
ERMES developes a set of remote keyboards that let you to control all the video apparatuses which produces;
these keyboards permit you to select cameras, to chose display mode, to control the playback of the digital
video recorders and, finally, to control speed dome cameras as well as P/T/Z cameras.
You can connect the keyboards to the apparatuses by the
M-BUS which is a control bus present
on all ERMES switchers, matrices, multiplexer or digital video recorder. Thanks to the M-BUS you can use the same
keyboards whith all equipment produced by ERMES.
The M-BUS allows you to control one or ;more equipment by means of the same keyboard; you can control equipment
of the same family (for instance two multiplexers) as well as equipment of different families (for instance two
multiplexer and a digital video recorder).
The standard keyboards are not expensive even if they have a complete set of features. They come in two versions: the first keyboard allows to control equipment with up to 32 cameras and the second allows you to control equipment with more than 32 cameras (more)
If your system includes speed dome cameras, it is more suitable to use the
keyboard whit a 3-axis
proportional joy stick.
In order to make easy the video selections, the control of the speed domes and the remote setting of
the speed domes, this keyboard includes a LCD display
(more).
If you prefer do not have wires betwen the apparatuses and the keyboard, you can use the
IR remote controller
that lets you to control all ERMES equipment without the need of a cable connection.
This IR remote control is made by the IR transmitter and the IR receiver. You can use more IR remote
control in each system but, in order to avoid interferences, you must use only one IR remote control
in each room (more).
When you wish to control P/T/Z pr speed dome cameras by the keyboards, you must use the protocol converter
DOME.D; this is an interface that converts the protocol used on the M-BUS into the protocol used by the
P/T/Z receivers or by the
speed domes. You can select the relevant
protocol by means of the bit switches fitted on the adapter.
If you have in your CCTV system cameras with different protocol (for instance P/T/Z cameras and speed domes),
you control both equipment by using a different DOME.D adapter for each family of equipment.
