SpeedLAN domes use same hardware/software used in the standard equipment SD.OSM18 and SD.OSM23 but, thanks to the built-in audio/video codec, you can directly connect them to a LAN or to a router.
These speed domes have all standard features that standard equipment have, but, in addition, they come with a bidirectional audio channel, 4 alarm inputs and 3 auxiliary outputs (opto-reed).

The communication protocol of SpeedeLAN is TCP/IP compliant and so it can work as video server and you can control main features of the equipment by a standard browser (only video transmission and camera/zoom positioning). In order to control completely the speed domes you must install on the PC the VideoLAN-EV software that allows you to manage the audio/video features, the camera positioning, the zoom adjustment and the auxiliary I/O; in addition, VideoLAN-EV allows you to record on the hard disk of the PC and to playback the audio/video signals coming from the speed domes.
SpeedLAN uses the same protocol used by the 4 cameras codec VideoLAN.4T; this allows you to obtain mixed systems with LAN speed domes and codec for standard cameras in very easy way.

SpeedLAN speed domes are the best solution available to day to solve in very easy way problems related to control of traffic, surveillance of parking and, in genaral, for the surveillance of wide outdoor and indoor areas. In fact, usually these systems need additional services and therefore may be useful to use only the LAN for the management of the CCTV, the audio intercom and the auxiliary I/O.
