Manager Bus for CCTV equipment

All ERMES products use a special communication protocol between the video equipment, the control keyboards and the auxiliary equipment that makes easy to manage complex CCTV systems that use more equipment.
This protocol runs on a communication line RS485 reserved for this purpose that we call "MANAGER BUS" (M-BUS).

The M-BUS connector is present on all ERMES equipment and it allows to use the same keyboards with all switchers, multiplexers and digital video recorders manufactured by ERMES; i.e. the KEY.32 keyboard can control a switcher as well as a multiplexer or a digital video recorder.
Of course, you can control the equipment with only one keyboard for all the outputs as well as one keyboard for each output or group of output.

In addition, you can control with one keyboard more equipment of the same type as well as of different type. For instance, if you want to increase to the number of the outputs of a digital switcher, you can use two DigiMATRIX.16CL by connecting together the video inputs of the two switchers and by controlling the eight outputs with one or more keyboards that you must connect to the M-BUS connector of the equipment.

Finally the M-BUS supports special interfaces like the DOME.D that allows to control the P/T/Z cameras and the speed dome cameras with the same keyboard that make the video selections.
