IP Public Address and IP Paging over LAN

These IP Public Address systems and IP Paging systems over LAN interface a power audio amplifier, that connects one or more loudspeakers, to the LAN in order to distribute an audio signal by using the audio over LAN and the IP protocol.
SoundLAN is the name assigned to the equipments that let to install IP Public Address systems and IP Paging systems over LAN easily and inexpensively, mainly when you need to install a Public Address system in large areas with great distances and consequently the laying of a conventional cable network is hard and expensive.
In order to save costs, you can use an existing LAN because these IP Public Address systems and IP Paging systems can share the LAN with other apparatuses; it transfers the managing datas and the audio signals by using the IP protocol.

You can have these audio gateway equipments in two different versions: the first includes the audio power amplifier and consequently drives directly the loudspeakers, the second has a 0dB output that can drive an external standard power amplifier.
The SoundLAN units come assembled in a die casting boxes for wall mounting or in a 19" unit for rack mounting.
When the SoundLAN comes with the built in audio amplifier it can drive directly horns or loudspeakers by means of the 100V audio line output; if you have SoundLAN in the version without the built in audio amplifier it can drive a external power audio units.

You can make announces directly over the LAN by means of a very simple intercom unit with handset (see picture on the left) or you can have an announcements desk unit with microphone, loudspeaker, control keyboard and display that is preferable for large systems. This IP Public Address and IP Paging system over LAN lets to send messages to one unit, to a group of units (Group Call) or to the entire system (General Call).
SoundLAN system includes auxiliary units that let to connect external audio sources (CD players or similar) to the LAN in order to play background music in the areas covered by the PA system and auxiliary units that let you to save messages on the built in memory and to play them according with criterions previously set.
